I have been tagged....TWICE!!!

WHERE HAVE THE CAGLE'S BEEN!!??

Well, we spent 8 wonderful days in Seaside Oregon (pictures coming soon!!)....had our best of friends, Kurt and Mary, here for a visit (was SO nice to be together again!)....and then took off back to Bellingham for John's 20 year high school reunion!!! That has been our last 3 weeks! Super super fun but...WHEW! But, we are back and getting in the groove again....and I have been TAGGED so here you go...make sure you see if I tagged YOU below...you have to do BOTH! :)

Rachel...so sorry it took me so long!

And April, here is yours below! Oh and April, I totally read your blog! I am sorry I never leave comments...I'm not very good about that anyway...but yours won't let me leave any. :)

Here's Rachel's..

I am: Strong...stronger than most people would think cause I come across fun, silly, girly and all that...but I don't get knocked down or taken out easily anymore...and if I do I always get back up and stay the coarse.

I think: too much sometimes. I have a tendency to get inside my own head (scary!) and overthink things sometimes...dangerous! :)

I know: that I am loved more than I can ever understand by my God and that He is the true reward of life

I want: Coffee...John is getting me some right now. :) In general I currently want a very healthy baby and a smooth delivery. Only about 7 weeks to go!!!!! :)

I have: a life most would love to have. A beautiful family, a husband that treats me like a princess (most of the time!) and I'm still totally in love with after 10 years, a ministry/job that challenges, molds, shapes, and inspires me...and friends who deeply bless me.

I wish: Money was never a concern or a roadblock for the things we want to do in life. I wish we could travel more and had a bigger house for our family...but I am still very very thankful for all we do have! I know we are so blessed with the things that really matter.

I hate: traffic, and when Christians talk bad about each other....truly sad when we "eat our own" as the family of God

I miss: Mary and my pre-pregnancy body :)

I fear: for the safety and health of my children sometimes and continually have to entrust them to the hands of God

I feel: Sophia moving in my tummy right now (what a gift and a joy!) and I am so excited as her birth draws near and we prepare for her

I hear: My boys playing a game and the Olympics on the tv

I smell: Coffee??? Could that be my coffee??? :)

I crave: haha...dare I say coffee? Honestly above all, I truly crave the presence of God. I also crave time alone with John. Oh, and how about travel...I really do crave that too.

I search: for the diaper bag I really want on Ebay because I don't want to pay full price for it! :)

I wonder: what Sophia will look like because I just can't imagine...I was way off with Johnny! :) I also wonder how God will provide for my ministry this year with all the changes and transitions but I KNOW He will.

I regret: DEBT. :) And a few things I have said to people over the years.

I love: Quiet time with my family, long summer evenings, Holidays, travel, precious time with great friends, snow, worshipping God together with His people, my husband, my babies, and My Lord.

I care: deeply for children....especially the orphans, the neglected, and the abused. I also care very much about the body of Christ.

I always: shower by nightlight or candlelight.....SO relaxing and peaceful.

I am not: PERFECT! :) I have to continually give myself grace for that!

I believe: in the love, power, and grace of God.

I dance: in the privacy of my own home with my kids and husband

I sing: because He has given me MUCH to sing about!

I don’t always: respond like I wish I would

I write: pretty well, I enjoy writing

I win: often at card games and board games!! Wanna play?? :)

I lose: when I am emotions led rather than Spirit led

I never: remember to get the mail!!

I listen: to try and hear what people are really saying and what the Spirit of God would have me do or say

I can usually be found: via my cell phone...it's like a tracking device for me :)

I am scared: that I'll miss the mark sometimes and get in the way of what God wants to do through me and with my life

I need: more of Jesus!!!! And coffee. :)

I am happy about: Being a mom and a wife and a worshipper/daughter/friend/heir of God

This is called the Random Things Meme...and here's how it goes:

Rules of Engagement:

1) Write 6 random things about yourself (see below).

2) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them.

3) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.

Six Random Things About Jessica:

1) I went to one year of bible college on scholarship, but didn't enjoy it...was SO ready to be done with school and study! I just wanted to sing. But, I joined Master's Commission instead and it was one of the best things I have ever done.

2) I have lived in Montana, Tennessee, and Kentucky...all as an adult

3) There are things about my family that would shock most....my own life has been clearly marked by the very grace of God and I am SO thankful!

4) My husband and I met on a 911 call

5) My children are my joy and I live to see them know and experience God for themselves and develop their own personal relationship with Him

6) I believe strongly that we need to honor the gifts God has bestowed upon us by serving the church with them and sowing them into seeing the Kingdom of God advanced. It's not always the easy way, but it's why we are here. One of my fave quotes...."Honor your gift, so others may live".

Now to tag people...hmm...

1. Mary...cause she is one of the most interesting people I know and we don't get to hear enough from her...she is a real woman of God full of much wisdom and insight

2. Andrea...because she is always good about doing this kinda stuff and cracks everyone up with her wit and humor and has a lot of interesting facts about herself that we all want to know

3. Karon...because we just don't hear near enough from our long lost friend and I know this girl has a very interesting life and history

4. Danae...because I have never seen her do anything like this!!! Anything to get her to blog more!! :) It would be super fun to read her answers.

5. Amelia...cause I just really like her and it's been too long since I have connected with her

6. Tiffanie....my new blogger friend, who is going through something I just can't imagine right now and my thoughts and prayers are with her...read her blog and show her some love and support! http://goadfamily.blogspot.com/

Busy Busy Busy!

I love Summer and we have been BUSY! Unfortunately, I have pretty much no new pictures because we can't seem to remember to take our camera ANYWHERE...not kidding. I blame it on pregnancy brain...I don't know what John's excuse is. :)

Couple things that have been big the past week or so was that I turned....(drum roll please)...33!!! WOW.

And we also went to a BIG family reunion with John's whole family up in Bellingham, I am hoping his brother Mike will send me some pics of that.

My birthday was very nice (and low key) this year. I started the day by going to the Gene Juarez spa in downtown Seattle with Jessy and we got 90 minute massages (AHHHHH) and pedicures and then we joined our husbands and a couple other friends for a nice dinner at Buca di Beppo's, and then John and I went to a late night movie. It was the perfect day for this very pregnant lady! And now I am 33!! Although the waiter at Beppo's who sang to me told everyone I was 24 and he sang "My Girl" instead of Happy Birthday...that was cool. :) My dear friend Leslie caught a few pics on her cell phone...that was really the only camera we had there...so they aren't the best and where John and I was sitting was the worst for light...but here are a couple anyway....

And for my bday gift from John....I got a NEW CAR!!!!! WOOHOO!!! My suburban was starting to have LOTS of problems...it is 9 years old afterall. So, we got a 2005 Suburban for me...FULLY loaded with all the bells and whistles and the best part is my payment is only gonna go up like $24! We got a great deal, and it should be here in 7-10 days! Thank you Jesus....and John! They both take very good care of me. :)

Pregnancy is going well, I feel (and see) Sophia move ALL the time! I have 11 weeks to go!! I did do two full days at Kent Corn Days tho and that about killed me! It was SOOOOO hot....like 87 degrees! Wasn't my smartest move, but I just can't resist going, I love taking the kids and it's a tradition. (Again...NO PICS!) :)

John's family reunion in B-ham was great. Fun time for everyone, I even met some family I had never met and I have been a Cagle for almost 9 years. All 4.5 :) of our kids were with us which was very special. We stayed at a nice hotel with a indoor pool for the kids which was great. We will be going back next month for a couple nights for John's 20 YEAR HIGHSCHOOL REUNION...can you believe it?! We were both still in our 20's when we got married....it's like we blinked and we are here. Crazy. :)

Summer is in full swing!!

Summer is here and we are loving it!

John and I just got back from Scottsdale on Tuesday....it was up to 118 degrees while we were there!!! UGH! We were sooooo happy to come back to Wa weather! It maybe wouldn't have been so tough on me if I wasn't 6 months pregnant!!! But, I did have an amazing spa day while there that was worth it all...it was heaven sent! Scottsdale has some INCREDIBLE spas!!
Nighttime in Scottsdale was great, when the sun went down it was in the low 90's and I would hit the pool to back float and look at the stars....ahhh..so relaxing!
John and I also drove up to Sedona...which is very pretty and was a bit cooler, so that was nice.
Nice little getaway all in all, but I missed our boys and due to the heat...I was SO ready to get home! :)

Let's see what else....Josiah has been at Vacation Bible School all week, having a blast. Johnny and I have been spending some wonderful time at the lake...one of my most fave things to do in the summer!

We all recently went to The Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA and LOVED it!! That place is AWESOME! Every family should go!

I am 6 months pregnant now and and as big as a house (not kidding!)...but I am loving feeling Sophia move ALL the time. She is over a foot long now and weighs about 1.25 pounds. She is strong though! Last night and this morning we actually SAW my belly move for the VERY FIRST TIME!!!! SO EXCITING!!! Love this stage.

I have so many pregnant friends right now....it's fun! There is Andrea (due next week!!), Natalie, Sarah, Taryn and now....KARON! Am I forgetting anyone?? As well as many special "blogging friends" who are expecting! It's really fun to follow along with everyone! Taryn and I had lunch yesterday and she is SO cute....4 months pregnant and you can't even tell...and then there is me with her....6 months pregnant and looking like I am ready to give birth...haha...we both get quite the kick out of the comparison! :)

Not much else to tell really....all 3 of the older kids are getting ready to go to church camp in July..they are all excited about that!

OH!! Josiah is a 6th grader now!!!! Can you believe it!?

Here are some recent pics for you...........

Sedona, AZ!!

GREAT WOLF LODGE!!!

IT'S A.......................

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Introducing.....Sophia Joy!

Side Profile

I love the detail of the hand in this picture...it looks like a 3D pic.

Wow! I am going to have a daughter!!! I have been a mom for almost 12 years now....but only to boys!! All that is about to change! Wow. I am excited, thrilled, and nervous...all at once. John and the kids are all super happy. We are adding a little princess warrior to our clan! :) I can't really wrap my brain around it yet...it's so new.
I knew in my heart who she was for months now, as did John, but it is still so wild. We are thrilled to welcome "Wisdom" and "Joy" into our home through little Sophia Joy.

Be blessed little one, grow in grace and favor, and be strong.....see you soon! God has knit you together, you are perfectly and wonderfully made. We love you Sophia!

BOY... OR.... GIRL??????

This Tuesday the 27th is our ultrasound!!!
I can't believe I had to wait till 20 weeks this time, last time I found out at 16 weeks...this has felt like the longest wait ever! :)

Soooo...wanna cast your vote???

Now, before you do...let me say...we would be THRILLED to have another boy, so please don't feel bad if that is your vote! haha :) We have had such amazing experinces with our boys and enjoy them SO much, and boys are what I know and love. :) However I would also be very excited to have a girl...maybe a little nervous....but still super excited! :) So, it really is a win win for us!

It also looks like we have picked our names!! We actually didn't go with the most popular. We really feel settled in our hearts on Sophia Joy Cagle (we just love the thought of naming our daughter "Wisdom" and combining that with "Joy"...what a beautiful combo)and we also know several people naming their babies Ava right now... and for a boy we will go with Jude Maximus Liam Evan Luke Issac Graham Cagle! OK OK, I kid!
But, we decided for a boy we just HAVE to stay with the "J" name theme! So Jude Issac Cagle it is! We also just LOVE the meaning of "Praise" combined with "Laughter"....sounds like the perfect combo to me! :)

Karen E....I just went back and read all the name votes...you nailed it girl! :)

So, what do you think....cast your vote...will we be announcing Sophia Joy or Jude Issac on Tuesday???? :)
